Eric Backs is talented at seeing possibilities and building relationships. With nearly 20 years in marketing, public relations and sales, and a master’s degree in journalism, he is a natural communicator.
At Holmes Millet, he specializes in development of integrated marketing plans and content strategy, and oversees objectives for clients. Eric brings strategic thoughtfulness, professional talent, unshakeable diplomacy and boundless optimism to any marketing challenge.
Prior to joining Holmes Millet, Eric ran a consulting firm with special focus on healthcare marketing and public relations. He has also served as a marketing director at Baylor Scott & White Health, Haynes and Boone and several non-profit organizations. He began his career as a public relations intern at Dr Pepper/Seven Up.
What he loves most in life is his wife and two daughters. When he’s not at work you can find him helping his kids raise rabbits, sniffing out interesting new things with his bloodhound Dagoo, or otherwise enjoying the outdoors. Cycling ranks pretty high on the list too.
